Having received the order of the British empire for services to innovation and design in 2000, Tom Dixon has continued to forge his own success as an inspirational designer of interior objects, designed to bring extraordinary objects into every day use. 

Notable lighting products include his famous copper lamp shades and mirror ball designs, made possible by a unique production technique called vacuum metallisation. The success of these and many more products has led to Tom opening offices and showroom space in Hong Kong and New York as he continues to sell products to each corner of the globe.
